Divity Health is glad to collaborate with Oxford Medistress (OMS), the lead applicant in this Innovate UK grant to improve access to occupational health (OH) services for SME's (0-49 employees) and the self-employed. The start date for the project in 1 June 2023 running for eight months.
The project uses a unique objective stress test from OMS, in order to assess if work demands exceed work capability. We will provide feedback of the test results to the employee with a patient centred software app. and combining results with health questionnaires. We plan to set this research up in the UK offshore energies worker population, with the required ethical approval.
The end goal is to improve worker wellbeing to facilitate work participation (minimise sickness absence and exit from employment for health reasons). We hope to expand the application to other UK SME industries.
